AT A TIME ON EARTH
At a time on the earth,
When the sands
Of the wilderness were untouched by the hands
Of man,
Languages of multifarious birds
Were heard as they loiter and roister
To register
Their pleasure
For the benevolence of nature
Whenever dawn abnegates,
And when sunrise is espied,
Exuberant mammals begin to tour
The tor
Till shades
And shadows
Are known
After noon,
And when the sky acquiesces
To spring,
Oodles of polychromatic butterflies
Will report
And disport
On revivified rhubarbs and rhododendrons,
Until their wings succumb to fatigue
And they shut-eye
At sunset.
This time on earth,
The sands
Of the wilderness have been touched by the hands
Of man,
The languages of the birds
Are now minimal,
The dance
Of the butterfly
Is done without skills nor styles,
And the flowers now blossom with dullness
In its costumes,
The wilderness must be untouched,
The forests must be restored,
And nature
Must be adored
By all,
For the earth
To be reborn.
