President and Executive Director: Randy Senzig
While teaching AP Environmental Science and Earth/Environmental science for 27 years, Randy also led environmental camps at NC State University for five years. Randy has used the GTE Fellowship and the NCSU Kenan Fellowship to promote and complete campus outdoor classroom projects involving the planting of over 600 trees. A bluebird trail of 36 bluebird boxes was also created on campus to allow students hands-on experiences in managing the trail. Chief Operating Officer: Iris Senzig Iris Senzig brings an element of business acumen to CHER based on 33 years in private business. Her major experiences include serving as Director of Provider Relations in Network Healthcare, Inc, a for-profit HMO in South Florida where she managed the development of a provider network of physicians, hospitals, laboratories, and ancillary providers to care for over 50,000 members. Business development and marketing was a major component. Iris and Randy owned and operated a domiciliary home in Wake County for 12 years after which Iris joined the educator ranks of Wake County Public Schools serving as Administrative Assistant for Evaluation and Research. |
