Summer Camp Wind Eagle​

​Summer Camp Wind Eagle is for Grades 1-5 students. Join C.H.E.R. this summer to have fun exploring and learning about the natural world around you at the beautiful Historic Yates Mill County Park in Raleigh. The landscape allows for activities such as hiking, soil sifting, outdoor nature games, canoeing, fishing, arts, crafts and journaling with a visit to the historic 1760 Grist Mill.

We are proud to offer 12 years of experience in youth nature camps. Our Staff is CPR certified and holds Bachelor's degrees in science fields.  ​Staff to student ratio is 1:5.

Hands-on Science & Observation Activities
Plant & Animal Identification
Cane-pole Fishing
Natural Arts & Crafts
Nature's Music using 'Up-cycled' Instruments
Daily Entries in a Nature Journal
Nature-themed games
Canoeing
Guided Tour of the Historic Water-Powered Gristmill
