He questions himself…
Just as his life should have gradually
became more independent,
the strong bond with his parents
was shattered.
His final memory lingers,
“Good Luck, my loving son.”
His life was a puzzle box scattered
across the floor, waiting to be connected.
As the woods wake up, I
play my role and chirp my morning
song, crisp and clear.
All is at peace, just like melody and
harmony mix together.
Until a sudden rustle casts a silence
over the woods.
Wars cease, hearts heal, fires fade
unless you are him.
The boy wanders through the woods
with a blank expression on his face,
which no one can interpret.
He looks left, right, up, down, seeking
the company of another intruder.
Alas, tis only his bony Persian.
She has always been there for him.
As the woods wake up, I
play my role and chirp my morning
song, crisp and clear.
All is at peace, just like melody and
harmony mix together.
Until a sudden rustle casts a silence
over the woods.
He rambles to many places without
accomplishment.
All he wants is to be filled with peace
out of the many gaps in his life.
He meanders among the fields and streams
to realize that one terrain pulls him back.
As the woods wake up, I
play my role and chirp my morning
song, crisp and clear.
All is at peace, just like melody and
harmony mix together.
Until a sudden rustle casts a silence
over the woods.
A silent flutter now catches his thoughts.
Is that a person?...creature?...the wind?...or his imagination.
All looks monotonous , until a glimpse of a
blue wing darts past his eye.
The moment locked their souls upon each other.
A boy and a bird realize their destiny
on this planet.
They will help each other find their way.
