IN FRONT OF ME
It angrily attacks;
It reverently retreats.
It lavishly laps
At my sun-fevered feet.
It ceaselessly covers;
It carelessly carries.
It delightfully discovers
The treasures it ferries.
It repeatedly rolls;
It wildly wakes.
It laughingly lolls
When the hill breaks.
It continuously cools;
It savagely stings.
It dramatically drools
As the glass gleams.
It is the ocean.
It is the sea.
It is the beauty in front of me.
It angrily attacks;
It reverently retreats.
It lavishly laps
At my sun-fevered feet.
It ceaselessly covers;
It carelessly carries.
It delightfully discovers
The treasures it ferries.
It repeatedly rolls;
It wildly wakes.
It laughingly lolls
When the hill breaks.
It continuously cools;
It savagely stings.
It dramatically drools
As the glass gleams.
It is the ocean.
It is the sea.
It is the beauty in front of me.
