While teaching AP Environmental Science and Earth/Environmental science for 27 years, Randy also led environmental camps at NC State University for five years.
Randy has used the GTE Fellowship and the NCSU Kenan Fellowship to promote and complete campus outdoor classroom projects involving the planting of over 600 trees. A bluebird trail of 36 bluebird boxes was also created on campus to allow students hands-on experiences in managing the trail. |
